Laser treatment Suggestion
(1) Fully expose the treatment area, clean the skin and do routine disinfect, with 5% EMLA (ex sodium) or 5% lidocaine ointment topical anesthesia for about 1 hour, then remove surface anesthetic ointment and do laser treatment.
(2) With goggles or safety glasses to protect the eyes of patients, or use wet gauze covers the patients’ eyes.
(3). Choose 1064nm wavelength laser
(4) Treatment parameters: energy 200-550mj; spot 2-3mm; Frequency 1-5Hz. Sequentially irradiating laser to the skin lesion area and keep that the laser irradiation direction perpendicular to the skin lesion area, spot overlap does not exceed 10%, please do not leave out. The treated skin appears pale immediately, subsequently little bleeding. Treatment parameter adjustable is mainly according to the experience of the operator, should increase the energy from low to high.
It often takes 3-6 times to receive satisfactory results. The interval time between treatments is 60-90 days.
Postoperative treatment
* Apply antibiotic ointment on the surface, sterile gauze dressing will be needed for large areas, regularly dressing, skin will be healed within a week.
* No water to the treatment area, and it will be natural scab within a week.
* Try to avoid sun exposure.
*2 weeks before and after treatment, don’t take aspirin.
